It is situated in a panoramic position, from where you can see the valleys and the countryside that encircle the hill of Volterra until touching the medieval walls. The camp-site is only one km far from the beautiful historical centre … and it is really close to one of the most exiciting of Volterra territory. The camp-site "Le Balze", in fact, takes its name from the place itself, immense and evocative cliffs that reveal the history of Volterra's land. It is at the feet of a powerful walls that nowadays seem to defent it from a fascinating precipice.
